Very little is known about the gleeop's behavioral habits and culture but studies have been done on the actual physiology of a Gleepo to
help us understand a little more about these "space invaders." A Gleepo specimen was successfully obtained and underwent tests for informational purposes. THE OBTAINED GLEEPO WAS NOT HARMED DURING THESE
FIRSTTT TWO PROCEDURES. The first tests run on the Gleepo was
an x-ray exam. The image to the right is the result of the x-ray. We can see that they have absolutely no bones and only a buildup of a cartilage in areas of the body with vital organs, we will elaborate why later. The second test performed was a blood draw, where we discovered that Gleepo blood is a gel-like substance. While functionally identical to human blood, their blood cells coagulate in the veins and create a thicker blood that flows much slower than human blood. Gleepo blood still flows to all of their organs, however, it seems that they do not need a constant supply of blood flow and can survive up to 2 hours with no blood circulation. The reason why Gleepos only have cartilage and extremely coagulated blood is because they have another form, we will refer to this form as the "Metamorphosis Stage," or "Morpho" for short. In this morpho stage, Gleepos grow nearly 3 times their relaxed size, akin to the height of the average human. Their faces become more defined, as if mimicking the facial structure of humans, and their limbs become jointed. Our studies have produced results that indicate that Gleepo blood coagulates even further, creating these very stiff pseudo-bones and joints, which explains why they can survive a couple hours without any circulation of blood. We are unsure what exact circumstaces cause the Gleepo to metamorphose, as our tests have produced mixed results. Various tests have caused this morpho reaction, including direct contact with a human, incredibly loud noises, and intensee stressorss. Further research is
required. Numerous other experiments were conducted. Our studies inlcluded an examination to determine the sex of the Gleepo in containment, but our observations and studies proved unsuccessful as we were not able to identify a clear indicator of a reproductive organ. Some testers believe they may reproduce asexually but this has yet to be observed. indicate that Gleepos are not susceptible to infections or diseases in the same way that humans are, perhaps due to the climate of the plant they inhabit. However, identically to humans, Gleepos are able to feel pain. They respond poorly to injections and
beinggggg shottt, which opposes our hypothesis. More testing is necessary in order to figure out how to handle these creatures. While working with the Gleepo we obtained, we have discovered that they are capable of speech. They seem to have a unique language, but, when metamorphosed, have the ability of speech in English silimar to the level of a 3rd grader. We are unsure if they know any other languages, but we were working to find out. Communication with the Gleepo proved very difficult as it refused to answer questions and primarily talked to itself in English. We do believe it can understand the majority of what we are saying, it just remains uncompliant. Tests were done to try to provoke resposes but to no avail.
